How to transfer your data to a new phone (Android to Android)
What You Need Before Starting

Both Android phones charged (or plugged in)

Wi-Fi turned ON

Your Google account details ready

Old phone unlocked and nearby

If you use whatsapp, back your data up before moving data over to do this go to settings – chats – chat backup – back up data
Step-by-Step Wireless Transfer (Android to Android)
1. Turn on your new Android phone

Start setup and choose your language

Connect to Wi-Fi
2. Copy apps & data

When prompted, tap “Copy apps & data”

Tap Next
3. Choose wireless transfer

Select “A backup from an Android phone”

Then choose “Wireless” or “Cable or wireless” → Wireless
4. Prepare your old phone

On your old phone, open the Google app
-
Type or say: “Set up my device”
(This starts the pairing process)
5. Connect the phones

A pattern or QR code will appear on the new phone

Confirm the pattern matches on both devices
6. Sign in to your Google account

Enter your Google account details on the new phone
7. Choose what to transfer
You’ll get options like:

8. Let the transfer run
