How To Use Your Solar Camera

Adding a camera to the app

  1. Install the app called DMSS from the app store (blue/white square with blue/white circle inside)
  2. Open the app and click the plus in the top right
  3. Tap SN/Scan
  4. Tap manually enter SN
  5. In enter device SN put in the following code - 8J083B0PAJ03CCA
  6. Leave security code blank and click next
  7. Top PTZ camera on the top row
  8. In device name you can call the site whatever you like i.e Newark Trailer
  9. Username – operator
  10. Device password – Environment123
  11. Tap save top right corner
  12. Tap done
  13. Camera should then connect

Live viewing the camera

  1. Tap SD or HD to switch between high resolution and standard resolution (depending on phones signal strength high res may be slow to use)
  2. Tap the microphone icon to start audio to the camera.
  3. Tap the camera icon to take a snapshot which will save to your device.
  4. Tap the recorder icon to start a clipped recording which will save to your device.

Moving the camera

  1. Tap the double down arrows.
  2. Tap the 4 arrows in a circle icon.
  3. Use the track pad to move the camera.
  4. Click the magnifying glass icon open up zoom control.
  5. 2 magnifying glass icons will appear in the bottom right of the image.
  6. Tap plus or minus to zoom in or out.

Playback footage

  1. Tap the video reel icon on the left.
  2. Tap the date/time in the centre of the screen.
  3. Select relevant date to playback & tap ok.
  4. Camera will now start to playback footage & the timeline will populate.
  5. The blue bars indicate recordings and you can scroll through to change the time.
